ulterior motive

속셈, 숨은 동기Collins    If you say that someone has an ulterior motive for doing something, you believe that they have a hidden reason for doing it.


실은 다른 목적이 있어서 만나자고 했어/왔어. 

(농담처럼) 순수하게 보자고 한건 아니고 용건이 있어 보자고했어
